How do I update my Terminal software and PayPal Point of Sale app?
- On your home screen, tap on Updates.
- Tap the Update button(s).
For app updates
- Once you update an app, you’ll see a button that says Open. Tap the Open button to launch the app.
For system updates
- After tapping the Update button, the Terminal will restart itself during the updating process.
Note: Right now, you can only install the PayPal Point of Sale app on your Terminal. It has been designed to help you take payments and run your business and can’t be used like a smartphone.
How do I know when I have available updates?
When there are available updates, you will see a number on the Updates icon indicating the available updates.
How do I uninstall the PayPal Point of Sale app on the home screen?
To uninstall the PayPal Point of Sale app, long press on the app icon and then select “Uninstall”. The app will be uninstalled and removed from your home screen. You can reinstall the PayPal Point of Sale app from “Updates”.
