Transalpino were struggling with an unreliable payments system and a mountain of manual admin. With the risk of losing sales due to their inconsistent PDQ, and spending chunks of time on the phone to their service provider as well as working through paperwork, this Liverpool institution urgently needed to find a solution that would simplify the day-to-day of running the business.
"I was using my bank’s solution, and there were always issues with the handset,” Brendan said. “Sometimes we couldn't get a signal, sometimes it'd break down and I'd have communication issues with them trying to change it. And it was a headache every quarter when my VAT came round. We'd have to go through the till roll and work out how many of this we've sold, how many of that – and mistakes can be made that way. If they did, I'd have to backtrack and manually go through all the sales again. It took days."
