If you want to familiarize yourself with the general payment process before you start selling, try to take a payment yourself.
Whether you’re using the Zettle Reader or Terminal, the same steps apply.
- Type in an amount or add a product to your shopping cart in the Zettle POS app
- Tap Charge
- Select Card as your payment method
- Tap the card on the Reader or Terminal or insert the card
- If applicable, enter PIN
- Check the app screen to see if the payment went through
- Choose to print, text or email a receipt, or select No receipt
- Make a refund right away
